German Energy Solutions Initiative with a Focus on Agri-Photovoltaics in Taiwan

From 9th to 13th of September 2024, DEinternational Taiwan Ltd., the service unit of the German Trade Office Taipei, will conduct a business delegation trip to Taiwan. The trip is founded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action, co-organized by Eclareon GmbH, and aims to foster the business relations between German and Taiwanese companies in the solar energy and Agri-photovoltaics sector.
Due to the promotion of photovoltaics at agricultural facilities of the Taiwanese government, solar panels and photovoltaics systems currently have great potential in Taiwan. Such systems are subsidies by the Green Energy Roof Project, that was initiated in 2017. The program supports Taiwan in achieving its goal to be CO2-neutral by 2050.
The program aims to promote the bilateral exchange of knowledge and business relations in the solar energy sector. German participants will have the chance to introduce their products and solutions during a conference with relevant Taiwanese stakeholders and establish business contacts during networking sessions and pre-arranged individual business meetings.
