Germany is the world's leading center for international trade fairs. Five of the top ten trade fair companies have their home in Germany. Attending trade fairs is a crucial and cost efficient part of a company's marketing efforts. With their international appeal, German trade fairs provide great forums for purchasing & selling products and ideas, decision-making and gathering market intelligence. Since 1995 German Trade Office Taipei has helped Taiwan companies and interested trade visitors to "Go Global" by providing them with comprehensive full trade fair services.

The exhibition department of German Trade Office Taipei (GTO) is the representative office for two German fair companies, Messe Berlin GmbH and NuernbergMesse GmbH. Our department will assist you in participating in all the fairs taking place in these two German cities.

IFA 2010 - The World’s Biggest Consumer Electronics Exhibition

The “Internationale Funk Ausstellung” (IFA) is the largest consumer electronics trade show in the world, exhibiting products including information, telecommunication, home entertainment and home appliance. In 2009 IFA has attracted 1,164 exhibitors from 63 countries and 228,000 trade visitors from 126 countries. More than 3 billion Euro worth of orders were generated in 2009, surpassing the record set in 2008.

The German Trade Office has launched the “Taiwan Image Hall” in cooperation with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) in 2008 on IFA;  Taiwan Image Hall is a unique platform for the Taiwanese ICT Industry to showcase word leading electronic and IT technology. This is also a historical achievement for Taiwan to present its high technology and designed products in a country hall scale on international trade fairs.

The TAIWAN IMAGE HALL assists Taiwan’s brand companies, small & medium size enterprises and further deepens the already strong economic ties between Taiwan and Europe. At IFA 2009 an international press conference where branding companies like ASUS, Hannspree, MSI etc. launched their innovated products was held that attracted 80 international media representatives.

This year IFA will be held from September 3 to 8 in Berlin, expecting increasing numbers of exhibitors and visitors and the response in the media. Click here for the official website of IFA 2010.
